Saif Ali Khan reveals he was conned in property deal in Mumbai, says 'I gave them about 70% of what I had earned'

Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji's Bunty Aur Babli 2 has released in theatres today. The Yash Raj Films' much-awaited comedy also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari and Pankaj Tripathi. Ahead of Bunty Aur Babli 2's release, Saif and Rani, who play a con-couple in the film, reunited for a special YouTube video. They discussed careers, family and of course films. During the conversation, Rani asked Saif if he has ever conned anyone. In response to this, the actor said he has been scammed.

Saif told, "I've been scammed myself, actually. It was all to do with property in Mumbai. So I bought something and they said 'You will have it in three years'. And I gave them lots of my money, about 70% of what I had earned till that time for this lovely big thing. I still haven't got it. I'm gonna get it I hope very soon but now that pandemic." Rani asked Saif if this is about his residence in Mumbai's plush locality Bandra. Saif said, "No, no, no. It's an office space."

During the interaction, Saif revealed his elder son Taimur would pick fake swords and chase people violently after watching Tanhaji. He also shared, "I keep saying, 'This is the good guy, this is the role' but he's like 'I want to be the bad guy and I want to rob the bank and I want to steal everyone's money'."
