The 21st IIFA Awards (International Indian Film Academy Awards) were supposed to be held in Indore from March 27-29, 2020, but due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the event was postponed. Now, finally the winners list has been announced by the organizing body with Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt receiving the top honours of Best Actor and Best Actress for their performances in Kabir Singh and Gully Boy respectively.
The IIFA team took to social media to announce the name of the winners on their Instagram handle and congratulated them. Here is the list of the winners.

Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Male): Siddhant Chaturvedi in Gully Boy
Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female): Kiara Advani in Good Newwz
Best Debut Female: Ananya Panday for Student of The Year 2
Best Debut Male: Abhimanyu Dassani for Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota
Best Story: Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar for Gully Boy
Best Female Playback Singer: Shreya Ghoshal for Kabir Singh (Yeh Aaina)
Best Male Playback Singer: Arijit Singh for War (Ghungroo)
Best Music Direction: Akhil Sachdev for Kabir Singh
