Suniel Shetty accompanied son Ahan Shetty for latter’s first interview on the release of his debut film Tadap. While talking to PeepingMoon.com, Suniel spoke about the paradigm shift that he has seen in the mindset of the stars of his generation and Ahan and his contemporaries.
When asked about the difference between his generation of actors and son Ahan and his contemporaries, Suniel said, “Our generation was we looked at Amit ji, we saw the adulation that Khanna ji, Dev Saab got, Dharam ji got and said ‘we want to be stars, we want to be superstars’. They’ve come in saying, ‘we want to be actors, and stardom will follow’. So whether it is Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan or Shahid Kapoor, they are acting, they are actors.”
Ahan has made his big Bollywood debut opposite Tara Sutaria in Tadap. The film is directed by Milan Luthria and written by Rajat Arora. It is the remake of Telugu hit RX 100. It has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his production banner with Fox Star Studios serving as distributor and co-producer.
