High tea for guests, 100 kgs of flowers for decoration and Rajasthani folk music to make Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal's mehendi ceremony special: Reports

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's wedding festivities kickstarted with a ladies sangeet night hosted by the latter's mother Veena Kaushal at the Six Senses Fort, Barwara in Sawai Madhopur. Reportedly, the Mehendi ceremony is scheduled to take place today. According to an entertainment portal's report, Katrina and Vicky's joint Mehendi ceremony will be an outdoor event. It is expected to start early this evening. 

As per the portal's report, Vicky and Katrina will be giving Punjabi music a skip by opting for a subtle mix of Bollywood and Rajasthani folk. The guests will reportedly enjoy a high tea. A source close to the development told the portal, "The weather is just perfect during the evening when it is neither too hot nor too cold. Hosting a function in the outdoors is during this time is a great idea. It will also leave ample scope for some gorgeous picture of the bride, groom and the guests in the backdrop of the fort as they get henna applied on their hands."

The source revealed that around 100 kgs of flowers including lilies, orchids and marigolds have been ordered for the ceremony. “It will be taking place at one of the open maidaans inside the fort, where tents have been put up already for the guests. The while area was being decorated the entire night and floral decorations will be done throughout the day today,” the source added. 

According to PTI's report, 20 kg organic Mehendi powder has been arranged for Katrina. 400 cones will be supplied for the VicKat Wedding.
