Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will soon become husband and wife today as they are about to tie the knot at Six Senses Fort, Barwara in Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan. While the pre-wedding festivities had begun early this week, as per the recent update the rituals for the wedding day have already begun. According to media reports, Vicky’s sehra bandi ceremony has begun at the wedding venue.
Sehra bandi is a pre-wedding ceremony on the groom’s side where the groom’s sister or sister-in-law (bhabhi) or maternal uncle ties the sehra on his paghadi. The ceremony is done before the baraat leaves for the mandap. Reportedly, all the baraatis- Vicky’s brother Sunny Kaushal, Kabir Khan and Angad Bedi are donning matching pagdis for the wedding.
The wedding muhurat is between 3:30 pm to 3:45 pm and the bride and the groom will tie the knot in a wedding mandap which has been arranged in such a way that it faces a temple.
The actors will host a grand reception post their wedding in Mumbai for industry colleagues and media.
