Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are all set to become husband and wife today as they tie the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara in sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. The big-fat traditional wedding has been the talk-of-the-town but the couple have ensured that no photos or videos gets leaked on social media and have made their guests sign NDAs and requested them to leave their cell phones in their hotel rooms during the ceremonies as they have reportedly sold the right to their wedding footage to an OTT platform for a whopping Rs 80 crore.
As per reports, Vicky and Katrina have sold the rights to their exclusive wedding footage to Amazon Prime Video. This means that the viewers will get to see and experience everything at the wedding like a film or a show that will exclusively stream on the OTT platform. The report added that the wedding video will be streamed in early 2022 before the buzz around their marriage takes a backseat. The video will not only showcase the wedding but the entire four-day celebration including Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet and other special functions.
Previously, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas had teamed up with an OTT giant in 2019 to stream their wedding in a documentary format that revolves around magnificent marriages in the US. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were also offered similar deals but they refused them.
Vicky and Katrina’s note to their guests reads, “We request you to please leave your mobile phones in your respective rooms and refrain from posting pictures or using social media for any of the ceremonies and events (sic).” The guests have also got secret codes which they will be using while entering the venue and enjoying the functions. As many as 120 guests will be attending the wedding of Vicky and Katrina.
