The trailer of SS Rajamouli’s grand vision RRR was launched today at an event. The stars of the film Jr.NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt were present at the launch along with Rajamouli. However, Ram Charan could not attend the event due to some personal commitments. During the launch, Jr.NTR was all praise for co-star Ajay and hailed him as an icon and inspiration. He recalled watching Ajay’s debut film Phool Aur Kaante and said working with him was like ‘working with a Guru’.

Talking about Ajay’s entry scene in Phool Aur Kaante, Jr.NTR said he always wanted an entry scene like that and was blown away when he watched the film as a kid. He said, “Please do not even compare me with Ajay sir. We were kids, we grew up watching his films. He was our action superstar and continues to be one even today. I watched Phool Aur Kaante, and that entry scene was just terrific. I told my mom that I want to do this and she was like, such things happen only in films. I have seen so many Telugu films, but never seen an entry like Ajay sir in Phool Aur Kaante. Working with Ajay sir was like working with a Guru. I didn’t have the chance to share screen space with him, but I cherished seeing such a gentleman on screen.”

Jr.NTR also rubbished Alia’s claims that he and Ram Charan were always speaking in Telugu on the sets. Alia said, “On sets, NTR and Ram Charan were always speaking in Telugu. I was waiting for translator.” However, Jr.NTR laughed it off and said, “No, No. Infact, every time when Alia was around, we made sure to speak in Hindi or English.”

RRR also stars Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson in pivotal roles. The movie is all set to hit screens on January 7, 2022.
