Sidharth Malhotra is all set to headline Karan Johar's Dharma Productions' first action franchise Yodha. The big announcement was made on November 18 with Sidharth's first motion poster from the film. Yodha is going to be the first of many in the franchise. This is Karan's and Sidharth's eighth collaboration after Student Of The Year, Hasee Toh Phasee, Brothers, Kapoor & Sons, Baar Baar Dekho, Ittefaq, and Shershaah. Now, two leading ladies have joined Sidharth in the film and they are none other than Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.
Announcing the big news, Karan wrote on Instagram, "The phenomenal and exceptionally talented female leads of #Yodha are here! Welcoming the fierce, the gorgeous and ever charming Disha Patani to the family. Along with Raashii Khanna, who brings her spark and innocence to the role like no other! Yodha hits theatres near you on 11th November, 2022."
The film is said to be based on a plane hijack story as seen in the first motion poster. Yodha is believed to be an out-and-out lavishly mounted actioner planned for the big-screen cinematic experience.
The film will be directed by Dharma's new talented duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha and will hit the screens on November 11, 2022.
