SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR will finally release in theatres on January 7, 2022. Starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn among many others, it is a pan-India film releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, English, Portuguese, Turkish, Korean and Spanish. Ahead of RRR's much-awaited release, the makers organised a star-studded event in Mumbai on Sunday.
The RRR pre-release event was attended by Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia, Shriya Saran and Rajamouli. Karan Johar and Salman Khan graced the event too. Salman posed for pictures with the team of RRR and made heads turn.

During the RRR pre-release event, Salman confirmed the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, written by Rajamouli's father K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. Praising the senior writer, the superstar said he gave him one of the biggest films of his career in 2015.
RRR is a fictional take on the younger days of celebrated freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju.
