BMC confirms Kareena Kapoor Khan is negative for Omicron variant of COVID-19

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently in isolation for COVID-19. The actress's genome sequencing report for Omicron has now come as negative, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said on Friday, according to a news agency. 

Amid the Omicron scare, her COVID-19 sample was sent for genome sequencing by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). It has now been confirmed that her sample has tested negative for the Omicron variant.

On the work front, Kareena will next be seen in the Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. It will hit the big screen on April 14, 2022. Atul Kulkarni has done the Indian adaptation of the Academy Award-winning film Forrest Gump that was originally written by Eric Roth.

Laal Singh Chaddha has been directed by Advait Chandan with music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The film is presented by Viacom18 Studios.
