Kabir Khan's upcoming sport-drama 83, which stars Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. What makes the film even more special is the fact that it stars real-life couple Ranveer and Deepika Padukone together for the very first time after their wedding in November 2018. Now, while promoting 83, Ranveer has spoke about the fact that Deepika is a bigger star than him. Expressing his proud feeling about the same, the actor said that he is happy for her and is too secure a person. 

In an interview with a Bollywood website, the actor said, "That’s just who I am. I can’t be any other way. I have always been this secure person. I feel very happy for my wife when she achieves. There’s nobody prouder than me." The actor, in the same interview, also talked about how his acting journey has been over the years. The actor shared that over 10 years ago, he couldn’t have thought of the actor he has become now.

It also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa and R. Badree in important roles. The film released on December 24 and opened to great reviews.
