Ranvir Shorey's son Haroon tests COVID positive, actor reveals they were 'almost hounded out of hotel room’

Ranvir Shorey and his son Haroon Shorey were in Goa for a vacation. Unfortunately, Haroon tested positive for COVID-19 after taking the RT-PCR for their flight back to Mumbai. They immediately quarantined themselves in a hotel in Goa. Ranvir has been sharing Haroon's health updates on Instagram. However, as a result of sharing the updates, the actor revealed they were 'almost hounded out of the hotel room’.

On Instagram, Ranvir narrated his ordeal and wrote, "As a result of my SM post, meant for the common good, we were almost hounded out of our hotel room, where we were quarantining, due to other guests pressurising the hotel about us staying here. Society’s capacity for unscientific discrimination has been on full display. People who wanted selfies until a day before were blackmailing the hotel for discounts and refunds, because we were in one of the rooms! Will always remember this experience. It makes me wonder if the world deserves honesty at all. "

On December 30, Ranvir informed that Haroon has retested positive. "He has retested positive but I have tested negative. Good news is that #Covaxin works. Bad news is that we will have to remain isolated for the next week. What a welcome from 2022."

Ranvir and his former wife Konkona Sensharma are co-parenting Haroon.
