Travel agent from Egypt makes booking for Indian professor without advance payment, says 'You're from SRK's country, anything for him'

Shah Rukh Khan is not a superstar only in India, but across the globe too. For nearly 30 years, he has entertained his fans globally through the medium of cinema and television. Bollywood is known to the entire world and one of the reasons is Shah Rukh. A recent incident with an Indian professor shed light on Shah Rukh's worldwide fan following and respect. 

Ashoka University Economics professor, Ashwini Deshpande, spoke about the incident on Twitter. She revealed, "Needed to transfer money to a travel agent in Egypt. Was having problems with the transfer. He said: you are from the country of @iamsrk. I trust you. I will make the booking, you pay me later. For anywhere else, I wouldn't do this. But anything for @iamsrk & he did!"

Reacting to Ashwini's tweet, a user wrote, "Yes, it's true ! The craze is real. I have been to countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai and we are unfailingly known as the country of Shahrukh Khan @iamsrk all over."

Another user wrote, "I had similar experience in Egypt. Srk and amitabh bachhan are very famous in egypt."
