Deepika Padukone celebrated her 36th birthday with her husband Ranveer Singh in the Maldives. The star couple jetted off to the island country just before the New Year. Celebrities and fans across the country and world wished Deepika good health and success. But it was Ranveer's wish for his 'baby' that stole the attention.
Instead of going for a lovey-dovey wish for Deepika, Ranveer chose to tease her for promoting her upcoming film Gehraiyaan. In the picture, the actress can be seen taking a dip in the pool. Trolling his wife, Ranveer wrote, "My baby promoting #gehraiyaan on her birthday!"
On her birthday, Deepika shared fresh posters of Gehraiyaan, directed by Shakun Batra. The relationship drama also stars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. It was initially scheduled to release on January 25, however, it has been pushed to February 11. Gehraiyaan will premiere globally on Amazon Prime Video.
Workwise, Ranveer and Deepika were seen together on-screen after a long break. They played Kapil Dev and Romi Dev in Kabir Khan's 83.
