In the last few days, several Bollywood celebrities have fallen prey to COVID-19. In yet another unfortunate piece of news, Hindi cinema's nightingale Lata Mangeshkar has tested positive for COVID-19. The nonagenarian has been admitted to Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai.
Lata Mangeshkar, also known as Didi, is 92 years old. In a statement to ANI, the singer's niece Rachna told that the symptoms are mild. She added, "She is doing fine; has been kept in ICU only for precautionary reasons considering her age. Please respect our privacy and keep Didi in your prayers."
