Jasmin Bhasin, one of the most popular actresses currently, has signed her first Punjabi film. The Bigg Boss 14 contestant had started her acting career with films down South before venturing into the Hindi television industry. Jasmin will be seen opposite renowned Punjabi actor-singer Gippy Grewal in the film titled Honeymoon.
Honeymoon went on floors in Punjab today. The film is directed by Amarpreet G S Chhabra, who directed Rashmika Mandanna and Badshah's Top Tucker music video. He has reportedly directed shows like Saas Bina Sasural, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas: Veera, Choti Sarrdaarni to name a few. Honeymoon is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri.
Jasmin, known for her work in Hindi daily soaps like Tashan-e-Ishq, Dil Se Dil Tak, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, Naagin 4 to name a few, has recently featured in multiple music videos. She also participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and Bigg Boss 14.
Honeymoon, a Punjabi romedy written by Naresh Kathooria, revolves around a newlywed couple Deep and Sukh who want to go on their Honeymoon. However, Deep's extended family is unaware of what honeymoon means. The couple's honeymoon becomes a family holiday.
