Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi gave a Diwali treat to owners of theatres as well as the audience. The actioner also starring Katrina Kaif brought back the audience to theatres and revived the magic of cinema. Amid the pandemic, Sooryavanshi became 2021’s highest-grosser. Now, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, the makers of the film have decided to re-release it in theatres across Gujarat. 

Sooryavanshi will be re-releasing today across 30 non-national multiplexes in Gujarat. The exhibitors are confident that the actioner will provide the much-needed boost in footfalls at a time when there are no new releases. They are even confident that Sooryavanshi can create further demand among film buffs who missed out on the big-screen outing. Not only this, the ones who wish to watch the film on the silver screen again, can enjoy it too.

Sooryavanshi released in theatres on November 5. A month after its debut on the big screen, the film premiered on Netflix and is currently streaming on the OTT giant.
