Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas announced the arrival of their first child on Saturday. Though the star couple didn't reveal the gender of the baby, the actress's cousin Meera Chopra confirmed that it's a baby girl for NickYanka. She told a news portal that Priyanka always wanted multiple children. Meera called her cousin a 'supermom'.
"Priyanka always wanted to have a lot of kids. So, I am very happy for this new chapter in her life, she is going to be a super mom to her baby girl. She has excelled in every area of her life. So, being a mother is an extension to her powerful self, we are all very proud of her," Meera told the portal.

Priyanka and Nick, in their statement, wrote, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."
As per reports, the baby arrived 12 weeks before the due date and will remain in a Southern California hospital until she is healthy enough to return home
