Bappi Lahiri, known as India's disco king, breathed his last on Tuesday night in Mumbai. He wasn't keeping well for quite some time and was in CritiCare Hospital for almost a month. After getting discharged on Monday, Bappi Da's condition deteriorated once again on Tuesday and he couldn't make it through.
According to a news portal's report, Bappi Da collapsed in his daughter Rema Lahiri Bansal's arms. A family friend told the portal, "Bappi Da collapsed in his daughter Rema’s arms. His daughter Rema was the last person he was speaking to. The entire family is devastated."

The portal, quoting the family friend, mentioned, "Bappi Da had Covid last year and after that his condition worsened. He never recovered from it."
Bappi Da's funeral will take place today.
