Khushi Kapoor will start shooting for her debut film in April, confirms father Boney Kapoor

It is no secret that Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor is keen on making a career in the film industry. The aspiring actress completed her education in the US. The 21-year-old will be following her late mother and elder sister Janhvi Kapoor's footsteps into Bollywood this year.

Amid reports of Khushi making her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's film The Archies for Netflix, her father, producer Boney Kapoor, shared an update on her first project. Though he didn't reveal the name of the project, Boney confirmed that Khushi will start shooting for it in April. "Yes, she is very much interested in acting. She will start shooting for her film in April. Can't tell you more, you will know more about it soon," Boney told an entertainment portal.

The doting father further added, "As a father, I do that with Arjun and I will do that with Jahnvi, and Khushi also. Where Arjun and Jahnvi are concerned, they are already there and are doing very well for themselves and whenever they need me I am always there. At the same time, we are confident about talking about films, approaches, and all those things. Obviously, my inputs are there and it will remain as a father and as a producer. With my experience, I tell them what would be right but the decision is theirs. I talk to them about the commercial aspects, but the final decision is on them."

Khushi's elder sister Janhvi is a well-known actress who has done films like DhadakGunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Roohi. Her half-brother Arjun Kapoor is also an established actor who has been in the industry for almost 10 years. Khushi's extended family has actors like Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Sanjay Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor. Her cousin Shanaya Kapoor has started shooting for her debut film after working on Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl as an assistant director.
