Tollywood's superhero Prabhas' upcoming mythological drama Adipurush is among the most-anticipated movies in recent times. Touted to be a visual extravaganza, the movie is expected to be a treat for VFX fans. Directed by Om Raut, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. 

This morning, Prabhas announced the release date of the film on Instagram with a logo poster. Adipurush is all set to release theatrically in 3D on January 12, 2023, worldwide. Sharing the news, Prabhas wrote, "#Adipurush Worldwide Theatrical Release in 3D on 12th Jan 2023."

In this upcoming 3D action drama Adipurush, Prabhas is all set to play the role of Lord Ram, while Kriti is paired up alongside him to play Sita. Saif will be seen as Ravan while Sunny will be seen as Lord Laxman.

Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. The film was earlier slated to release in 3D on August 11, 2022. It was going to clash with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. However, the new release date was announced this morning and the clash has been averted.
