Zee Studios and Abhishek Agarwal Arts present an #IAmBuddha Production, The Kashmir Files, directed by National award winner Vivek Agnihotri. After the gripping The Tashkent Files, the makers are back with another shocking, riveting and brutally honest film based on the true stories of the victims of the Kashmir Genocide. While the subject in itself has been a subject of heated discussion, the makers of the film received messages and communication from Kashmiri Pandits all around the world about the ordeals they’ve faced and how a film like this is important to highlight their personal narratives.

The Kashmir Files has also traveled to various international film festivals and garnered a positive and emotional response. The biggest reception however came from home turf as the makers showcased 20 minutes clip of a couple of conversations they had with Kashmiri Pandits from all across the world who had to run and leave his home, to the Indian media at an interactive press conference also discussing it in an honest manner despite its sensitive nature. Present at the event were Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Puneet Issar and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.

The Kashmir Files is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and is produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri under Zee Studios, IAmBuddha and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners. The gripping drama is all set to release on March 11, 2022.
