With the announcement of Pathaan, fans of Shah Rukh Khan are excited to watch him make a comeback after 4 years. The action-thriller co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will release on January 25 next year. Post completing Pathaan, the superstar has two big films in the pipeline. One is a social drama with Rajkumar Hirani and the other is Atlee Kumar's action film.
Amid this, director Aashiq Abu confirmed being in talks with Shah Rukh for his next. In an interview with an entertainment portal, he told, "See we just finished a meeting with him (SRK). We shared an idea. He was happy with it. But, you know it will take some time. Since the pandemic is still going on, his schedules, our schedules, anyway, it's going to take time."

He further dropped in a hint at the genre. "I can't say that. But, yes, some kind of thriller," Aashiq said.
Aashiq's recent film Naaradan starring Tovino Thomas and Anna Ben is currently running in cinema halls.
