Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, who announced their first film together Selfiee on January 12, 2022, have kickstarted the shoot now. The makers of Selfiee made a special announcement for the film this afternoon. Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty have joined the leading men of the film for the 'mad ride'. The two actresses have been roped in as the leading ladies. 

Selfiee is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Driving License, directed by Lal Jr, which featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Dharma Productions took to its Twitter page to announce the entry of Nushrratt and Diana with a super quirky video. "Fasten your seatbelt because the ever stunning @Nushrratt & @DianaPenty have joined the #Selfiee crew to take you on an adventure of a lifetime," wrote Dharma Productions.

Selfiee will be backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and helmed by Jugg Jugg Jeeyo director Raj Mehta. The film, which went on floors earlier this month, will also mark Prithviraj Sukumaran and Magic Frames' debut in Hindi cinema production.
