Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios have acquired the rights of Hridayam in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu – from the world of Malayalam cinema. Karan Johar will remake the romantic Malayalam movie, Hridayam in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Just a while ago, Karan's Dharma took to their official Twitter handle to share the good news. Both Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios have acquired the rights of the film.

Hridayam is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. It was produced by Visakh Subramaniam through Merryland Cinemas and co-produced by Noble Babu Thomas through Big Bang Entertainments. The film starred Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran.
Hridayam was released in theatres worldwide on 21 January 2022. The film grossed over 50 crore worldwide, becoming a critical and commercial success.
