Vijay Deverakonda has teamed up once again with Puri Jagannadh for his next pan-India film. Titled Jana Gana Mana or JGM, the film was announced today at a press conference in Mumbai. During the press conference, Vijay spoke about his Hindi language debut, Liger.
The actor reacted to whether he is worried about Liger's box office performance. "I know it is a hit. I am not bothered about it. I don't feel the pressure. As compared to the life I have lived, this is easy," Vijay told.
Liger, also starring Ananya Panday in the lead, revolves around an underdog from Mumbai, who becomes a world-famous boxer. It is releasing on August 25, 2022, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur. Liger also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy and former American boxer Mike Tyson.
