Ranbir Kapoor’s and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is probably the most highly awaited Bollywood weddings of recent times. While speculations are rife that the wedding festivities will take place from April 13-17, a grand wedding reception is believed to be happening at the end of the month. However, since many reports have come out about the wedding, it is being reported that the venue is going to be RK Bungalow in Chembur.
As per sources, the iconic bungalow is being decked up for the big day and preparations are in full swing. Reportedly, the wedding functions will begin from April 13-14 onwards and will go on for 3-4 days with ceremonies following the Punjabi traditions. While there has been no confirmation but the buzz is that the wedding is going to take place on April 17.
RK Bungalow is a glorious heritage created by Ranbir’s grandfather Raj Kapoor. The wedding venue has been chosen keeping in mind that it is perhaps the last Kapoor shaadi from this generation and hence the family wanted to keep it close to their roots. The bungalow is one of the few mansions in Mumbai that has a sprawling lawn and is big enough to accommodate friends and family for the wedding.
Reportedly, the industry colleagues and friends of the couple have already been intimated about the wedding but a formal invite has not gone out yet. As per reports, Ranbir has ensured that all the technicians he has worked with over the years, including his hair and make-up artistes, spot boys and assistants are on the guest list along with Bollywood biggies.
