Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s pre-wedding festivities have started in full swing. As per reports, the couple are set to tie the knot on April 15. A day ahead of the wedding, reports are rife that Ranbir will be taking a break from work after the wedding for a week whereas Alia will return to sets after 5 days.
According to an online portal, Ranbir will be taking a break from work before he heads to the shoot of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, post his wedding with Alia. The report states that he will resume work on April 22. A source told the portal, “Ranbir Kapoor will be going to Manali on April 22 to shoot for Animal. It is going to be a two day schedule which will later continue in Mumbai for a week.”

On the other hand, a separate online portal reported that Alia will be resuming the shoot of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh, 5 days after her wedding with Ranbir. She will be heading to Delhi for the shoot and the schedule will be wrapped by April 31, after which, the actress will head to Switzerland.
Alia and Ranbir’s wedding is the most talked-about wedding of Bollywood and all eyes are on the couple and their families as they near the altar. The pre-wedding festivities have started with Ranbir’ mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and aunts Rima Jain and Babita Kapoor in attendance at his Vastu residence in Mumbai.
