Ranbir Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with his ladylove Alia Bhatt in an intimate ceremony at his residence in Bandra in just a few hours. The news, after much speculation, was confirmed by his mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni on Wednesday after the Mehendi ceremony. 

Ranbir, today, was all set to take his baraat from Krishna Raj bungalow to Vastu, where the wedding will take place. As per sources, the Kapoor family sought permission to take out the procession with 30 members in attendance. However, the Mumbai Police has not given permission for the baraat procession. The permission was not granted due to security purposes.

Ranbir and Alia's pre-wedding festivities kickstarted on Wednesday with a Pooja and Mehendi ceremony.
