Karan Johar pens a heartfelt note for 'darling' Alia Bhatt after her wedding, calls Ranbir Kapoor his 'son in law'

Not long after Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor officially became Mrs and Mr Kapoor, and once the no-fuss ceremonies got over, Alia shared a bunch of dream-like pictures of the couple on her social media. Taking to her Instagram, Alia posted a series of pictures with Ranbir. In the pictures, the star couple can be seen wearing cream-coloured wedding outfits, drenched in the golden shade of the setting Mumbai sun.

Soon after Alia, her father-like-family-friend Karan Johar also shared the same photos with a heartfelt caption but what took everyone's attention was the fact that KJo called Ranbir his 'son-in-law'. The filmmaker wrote. "t’s days like this that we live for …where there is the most beautiful blend of family, love and absolute emotion….. overwhelmed and so full of love in my heart… my darling @aliaabhatt this is such a beautiful life step and my love and blessings go with you everywhere … Ranbir ! Sharing the photos, Alia had penned a romantic caption and written, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia ♥"
