Cannes Film Festival 2022: Deepika Padukone to be a part of the jury headed by Vincent Lindon

Festival De Cannes or the Cannes Film Festival will begin on May 17 and will conclude on May 28. On Tuesday, the members of the Cannes 2022 jury were officially announced. We have a reason to celebrate. Deepika Padukone will be representing India globally as one of the jury members. 

Vincent Lindon has been named the President of the jury. Apart from Deepika, English actress Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace from Sweden, and filmmakers Jasmine Trinca from Italy, Asghar Farhadi from Iran, Ladj Ly from France, Jeff Nichols from the United States and Joachim Trier from Norway are a part of the jury.

Deepika made her red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. Now, she will play a key role in selecting the winners of this year’s Palme d’Or honors. Queen D is making India proud, we cannot wait to see her red carpet appearances. 

Workwise, Deepika is working on Project K with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. She will be acting in the remake of The Intern. Apart from that, she has Madhu Mantena's Draupadi. Deepika was last seen in Shakun Batra's film Gehraiyaan.
