After impressing fans, critics and audiences with her acting skill, Sara Ali Khan is all set to take it a notch higher and play freedom fighter, Usha Mehta, in her biopic. Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment is collaborating with Amazon Prime Video for Usha Mehta's biopic titled Aye Watan Mere Watan.
The news was announced on Twitter by Journalist Rajul Raut. He wrote, "BIG NEWS!! #SaraAliKhan to star in Dharmatic Entertainment's Amazon Prime film, #AyeWatanMereWatan.. Sara to step into the shoes of freedom fighter #UshaMehta in this biopic — directed by #EkThiDaayan fame Kannan Iyer, & written by Daroob Farooqui.. Goes on floors in August 2022!"

Sara is on a roll. The actress, who made her acting debut with the 2018 film Kedarnath and then appeared in Simmba earned the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2021, she gained wider recognition and praises for her performance as Rinku in Atrangi Re.
