Mithun Chakraborty discharged from Bengaluru hospital after receiving treatment for kidney stones, son Mimoh says he’s 'fit and fine'

Veteran actor-dancer Mithun Chakraborty was recently rushed to a private hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka after he complained of severe stomach ache, fever and similar symptoms. Much to everyone's relief, the 71-year-old actor is now discharged. The actor's son, Mahaakshay Chakraborty, also known as Mimoh Chakraborty, informed about his father's health update and said, “he is fit and fine.”

Mithoon Chakraborty was hospitalised due to severe stomach ache, fever and similar symptoms. His son, Mimoh Chakraborty, revealed that the actor was admitted due to ‘kidney stones’. “He was admitted due to kidney stones. He is discharged from the hospital and now he is fit and fine,” said Mimoh.

Wishing Mithun Da for a speedy recovery, Dr Anupam Hazra, National Secretary BJP, shared the actor’s photo from the hospital and wrote, “Get well soon Mithun Da (I wish you a speedy recovery Mithun Da).”

On the work front, Mithun Da was most recently seen in The Kashmir Files. The Vivek Agnihotri directorial, which also stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, Bhasha Sumbli and Chinmay Mandlekar, is a true story, based on video interviews of the first-generation victims of the Kashmir genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit community.
