A R Rahman's eldest daughter Khatija Rahman tied the knot with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed on May 5. The singer had a low-key wedding ceremony in presence of family members. The first picture of the newlyweds was shared by A R Rahman on Instagram.
In the picture, Khatija can be seen dressed in a white floral print outfit. Riyasdeen was twinning with her in white. The bride's father wore a maroon sherwani whereas her mother was dressed in a brown outfit. The caption of A R Rahman's post read, "May the Almighty bless the couple .. thanking you in advance for your good wishes and love."

Khatija got engaged to Riyasdeen on December 29, 2021.
