'Phir bahu,' reacts Neetu Kapoor as paparazzo asks her about Alia Bhatt, says 'she is very happy, ab aage badho'

On Wednesday, Karan Johar hosted a party at Mumbai's Yash Raj Studios to celebrate his 50th birthday. While most of Karan's friends and colleagues were present, his favourite 'student' Alia Bhatt gave the party a skip. The actress is shooting for her Hollywood debut, Heart Of Stone, with Gal Gadot. However, Alia's husband Ranbir Kapoor and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor were at the grand gala.

After the party, Neetu met the paparazzi. She firstly complimented them on their outfits, and said, "Kaise ho, bade acche lag rahe ho aap sab suit boot mein." A paparazzo initiated a conversation and said they have dressed up for Karan's birthday. Later, when the same paparazzo asked Neetu, "Bahu (daughter-in-law Alia) ke baare mein kuch batao na." Neetu playfully replied, "Phir bahu?" She added, "Abhi bahu bahut kushal mangal hai and she is very happy. Ab aage badho."
