Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's close associate Goldy Brar claims responsibility for Sidhu Moosewala's murder

28 years old Punjabi singer, rapper and politician Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on Sunday in Punjab's Mansa district. A day before the attack, the Punjab police announced the decision to withdraw security of around 424 people, which also included Sidhu. While the police are investigating the case, Goldy Brar, a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack. In a note on Facebook, Goldy accused Sidhu of being responsible for the murder of Vicky Middukhera and Gurlal Brar.

"Today, Moosewala was killed in Punjab, I, Sachin Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi take the responsibility. It's our work. Moosewala's name surfaced in our brother Vicky Middukhera and Gurlal Brar's murder, but the Punjab Police did not take any action against him. We also came to know that Moosewala was also involved in the encounter of our associate Ankit Bhadu. Moosewala was working against us. Delhi Police had taken his name but Moosewala used his political power and saved his skin each time," the note read.

According to reports, Vicky Middukhera, who was close to Lawrence, was murdered in broad daylight in Mohali on 8 August 2021. Soon after, Sidhu's manager Shagan Preet Singh's name cropped up and he fled from India. Before the police could reach out to him, he was in Australia. A lookout notice was issued against him.

As per a police officer, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang have criminal records in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana. Lawrence, lodged in a Rajasthan jail, is still managing to run his gang from inside. In February 2021, Goldy, with Lawrence’s help, allegedly planned the murder of Youth Congress Leader Gurlal Singh Balwan in Punjab. Lawrence's associate and friend Sampat Nehra had allegedly planned to kill Salman Khan and was arrested by the Haryana Special Task Force in Bangalore in 2018.
