Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, fondly known as KK left the music and film industry as well as the millions of fans in an utter state of shock and disbelief with his untimely passing. Bollywood’s most-adored playback singer, left the mortal world for a heavenly abode on Tuesday, May 31, after performing in his last show at Nazrul Manch in South Kolkata. He was 53.
Moments after the news, condolences started pouring in honoring the playback singer and his musical legacy. Actor Emran Hashmi, to whom KK lent his soulful voice for many chartbuster songs, mourned the singer’s untimely demise.
