Bollywood's star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child. The actress, who is currently in London shooting her debut Hollywood film, made the announcement on Instagram this morning. Ranbir and Alia tied the knot on April 14 this year.
Reacting to the news, Alia's mother Soni Razdan told a leading daily, "We are overjoyed and overwhelmed. Words really don’t do justice to this moment. I am just so so happy for Ranbir and Alia and for all of us. There is nothing greater or more profound in this world than bringing another life into it."
Alia's father Mahesh Bhatt reacted to the news and said he is happy for his daughter and son-in-law. He further shared that he will now start preparing for the most important role of his life- the role of a grandfather.
Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor got emotional as she interacted with the paparazzi on the sets of Dance Deewane Juniors.
