Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor surprised all their fans and followers yesterday morning as the actress made a big announcement on social media. The couple, who tied the knot on April 14, is all set to embrace parenthood soon. Alia announced her pregnancy with a super adorable photo of her sonography screen while lying on the hospital bed with RK by her side. She shared another photo of a lion, lioness and a cub - representing a happy family. Alia captioned the post, "Our baby ….. coming soon "

Ever since old interviews of the couple talking about the idea of having kids are going viral. Now, an old quote of Alia where she talked about the number of babies she wants to have has made it to the headlines. Talking about thinking of baby names, Alia had said in a 2018 interview, “I’ve not had the life of an average 20-year-old. By average, I mean any other 20-year-old. Maybe, another 20-year-old would have had a life way tougher than mine. So, I will not understand their point of you and they may not understand mine. Everyone’s story is different based on the life they’ve lived. Also, I don’t know if it’s just because I’ve turned 25, but of late, I’ve started thinking of baby names. I’m a baby myself but for some reason baby names seem attractive to me.”

The following year, in a video, Alia spoke about how many kids she wanted. In 2019, Alia shared a video on YouTube also featuring her best friend Akansha Ranjan. In the video, Alia revealed how many children she wants to have. She said that she wants “two boys.”

Ranbir and Alia tied the knot on April 14 at their Bandra residence after being in a relationship for 5 years. It was a private affair with only family members and close friends in attendance. The couple is yet to host a proper wedding reception for the entire film fraternity.
