Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor surprised all their fans and followers yesterday morning as the actress made a big announcement on social media. The couple, who tied the knot on April 14, is all set to embrace parenthood soon. Alia announced her pregnancy with a super adorable photo of her sonography screen while lying on the hospital bed with RK by her side. She shared another photo of a lion, lioness and a cub - representing a happy family. Alia captioned the post, "Our baby ….. coming soon "
Now, an old clip of late Rishi Kapoor has gone viral where he is seen advising Ranbir about his future wife and the 'mother of his children'. Ranbir appeared on Simi Garewal's chat show India's Most Desirable in 2011. During the chat, Rishi shared a message for Ranbir via a video recording. He had said, "You have to live your life and you have to live your life with that person, your soulmate. You have to be very careful, that person is going to be the mother of your children. The great grandfather would be Raj Kapoor, my grandson."

Rishi also wanted Ranbir to get married so that he could see his grandchildren. The veteran actor died in 2020 after more than a year-long battle with cancer.
Ranbir and Alia tied the knot on April 14 at their Bandra residence after being in a relationship for 5 years. It was a private affair with only family members and close friends in attendance. The couple is yet to host a proper wedding reception for the entire film fraternity.
