Ranveer Singh reveals he is learning Konkani so that wife Deepika Padukone 'cannot turn their kids against him'; actress blushes

Deepika Padukone is currently in the USA with her parents Prakash-Ujjala Padukone and sister Anisha Padukone to attend the 10th Edition of the Konkani Sammelan in San Jose as the Chief Guest. The actress' husband Ranveer Singh joined the Padukones for the do. Videos and pictures from the event went viral on social media.

In one of the videos, Deepika participated in a conversation at the Konkani Sammelan. Ranveer joined her and took the stage with her. Talking about his Konkani speaking skills, the actor told, "I am in a position where I can understand all of Konkani seamlessly but there is a reason behind this, it’s because when we do have children I don’t want their mother to speak to them in Konkani about me without me understanding."

Ranveer also displayed his Konkani speaking skills at the Konkani Sammelan. The audience clapped and cheered for the actor. Amid this, Deepika, who looked stunning in pink, couldn't stop blushing.

During the event, Deepika received an "I love you" from a fan present in the audience. Reacting to that, the actress quipped, "I’m a married woman now. Behave."
