Karan Johar took to social media to release the first glimpse of a song from Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s upcoming film Liger. Titled Akdi Pakdi, the song’s teaser promises it to be a peppy party number where Vijay and Ananya unveil their dancing skills.
Karan shared the teaser video on social media with the words, “Get ready to vibe it out with #AkdiPakdi," adding a fire emoji. Vijay and Ananya also shared it on their respective Instagram accounts, captioning it, “Lets go Boyyyysssss!!! Full. All out. Mass! Here's #AKDIPAKDI Promo.”

The song Akdi Pakdi will be out at 4 pm on Monday, July 11 and promises to be the party anthem of the year. Liger also stars Mike Tyson in a special appearance.
The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and is co-produced by Karan under his production banner of Dharma Productions. The film stars Vijay as a kickboxer who went from being a ‘chaiwaala’ in Mumbai to becoming a professional boxer, competing in the US and also marks his Bollywood debut. Liger is slated to release on August 25.
