On Friday, Alia Bhatt wrapped the shoot of her Hollywood debut, titled Heart Of Stone. She was in the UK since May. Post completing her shoot, the actress returned to Mumbai on Saturday night. Much to her delight, her husband Ranbir Kapoor came to the airport to give her a surprise.
The mommy-to-be was over the moon to spot Ranbir inside their car. On seeing him, Alia exclaimed, "Baby" and hugged him. The reunion video went viral on social media and fans couldn't stop gushing over the couple.
Soon after Alia announced her pregnancy, a report claimed that Ranbir planned a trip to the UK to bring her back home safely. However, the actress dismissed the speculation and wrote on her Instagram stories, "Meanwhile in some people's heads, we still live in some patriarchal world...FYI. Nothing has gotten delayed. No one needs to pick anyone up. I am a woman not a parcel. I do not need to rest at all but good to know you'll have a doctor's certification as well. This 2022. Can we please get out of this archaic way of thinking. Now if you would excuse me.. My shot is ready."
Apart from Heart Of Stone with Gal Gadot, Alia will be seen in Brahmastra, Darlings and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
