Gaurav Taneja, also known as YouTuber Flying Beast, was granted bail hours after being arrested by police on Saturday evening. He was taken into custody after his wife Ritu Rathee organised his birthday party at a metro station in Noida.
As per reports, thousands of people gathered at the Sector 51 Metro Station in Noida to celebrate his birthday. Reportedly, the police arrested him under section 144 of the CrPC, section 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint) of the IPC. He was also accused of violating COVID-19 norms amid rising cases in Noida.

Gaurav and Ritu participated in the first season of the reality show, Smart Jodi. However, they couldn't continue till the end due to Ritu's knee injury. The pilot, on the show, opened up about being molested when she was in the fourth standard.
