The current hot topic straight from the tinsel town is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's baby. Ever since the couple announced the news, fans are eagerly looking out for statements from the actors regarding the new chapter in their lives. While promoting Shamshera, Ranbir revealed he wants a baby girl.

During Shamshera's promotion, the actor shot for a special weekend episode which will premiere on a leading TV channel. He will be seen taking tips and training from Rupali Ganguly, who plays the titular role in the daily soap titled Anupamaa. While cradling a prop doll, Ranbir said, "Ale le meri beti." Fans were quick to assume that he is hoping to have a daughter.

On the show, Ranbir told Rupali, "Duniya ke best pita banne ke liye aap mujhe kuch madad denge, meri help karenge ki mein kya kar sakta hoon?” Rupali then taught him how to hold a baby in his arms with a prop doll.
