Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are one of the most popular couples in the tinsel town as of now. The actress and the Indian cricketer have been in a relationship for quite some time now and going steady for three years. Now that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have tied the knot all eyes are on KL Rahul and Athiya to take the big matrimonial plunge. Recently, there were media reports stating that the lovebirds are expected to get married in the next three months in Mumbai. However, negating all such rumours, Athiya has reacted to the report on social media.
The media report stated that the wedding is expected to be a grand affair for both the families and Athiya is personally looking into every detail of the big day. However, Athiya hilariously slammed such reports on social media today. Taking to her Instagram stories, she wrote, “I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months. Lol.”
Earlier in the day, Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty had dismissed all such claims of the impending marriage and said, “No, nothing has been planned yet!"
Athiya and Rahul recently travelled to Munich together for the cricketer’s surgery. The couple often shares pictures of themselves on social media and last year, the couple made their relationship official by making their first public appearance together at the premiere of Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap.
