Kangana Ranaut unveils her look as 'sir' Indira Gandhi in Emergency teaser; film goes on floors

Kangana Ranaut has donned the director's hat once again for Emergency. Based on Indira Gandhi, the film will see the actress playing the lead role while producing it too. Kangana started work on Emergency in June, after the release of Dhaakad. Today, her look from the film was unveiled. 

Kangana launched the teaser of Emergency on social media. She has transformed into Mrs Gandhi for the film. It went on floors today. Sharing the teaser, the actress wrote, "Presenting ‘Her’who was called ‘Sir’"

Releasing Emergency's poster, Kangana wrote, "Presenting #EmergencyFirstLook! Portraying one of the most powerful and controversial women in the history of the world…"

Emergency is written-directed by Kangana. The film is bankrolled by the actress along with Renu Pitti. The screenplay and dialogues are by #RiteshShah.
