Rumours were rife that Manoj Bajpayee was approached for the sequel of Allu Arjun's Pushpa. Reportedly, the veteran actor was in talks to play the role of a cop in the film titled Pushpa: The Rule. However, reacting to the buzz, Manoj issued a clarification.
Responding to a news report on Twitter, Manoj wrote, "Kaha Kaha se samachar laatein ho aap log?" Reportedly, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule are also in talks with Vijay Sethupathi for the role of a cop. The news is yet to be confirmed.

Pushpa: The Rule is yet to go on floors. The film will orbit around the face-off between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, who was introduced as the antagonist in Pushpa: The Rise. Its release date is yet to be announced.
