The 68th National Film Awards were announced today afternoon at the National Media Centre in New Delhi for the films from the year 2021. The event is organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals, which comes under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior that missed the 2019 awards inclusion list by mere three days turned out to be a worthy winner as the actor received the Best Actor Award for a Feature Film. He shares the award with Suriya who won it for Soorarai Pottru. Aparna Balamurali won the Best Actress Award for her performance in Soorarai Pottru.
