The Income Tax Day or Aaykar Diwas is celebrated annually in India on July 24. On this occasion, the Income Tax Department felicitated Akshay Kumar with a Samman Patra. The superstar falls under the category of one of the highest taxpayers in the Hindi film industry.

Akshay, who has multiple films releasing every year, is said to be constantly among the highest taxpayers of India over the last 5 years. Apart from his films, the superstar has various endorsements and projects under his production house.
